Are you new to Genealogy?

Let us help you start your journey in discovering your ancestors.

The Dyer Memorial Library is a unique and valuable resource for the Abington, Rockland, and Whitman communities and one of the premier local history and genealogy research libraries in the Massachusetts South Shore.

The library has a vast collection of materials and experienced staff to provide services to a full range of patrons, from children to senior citizens and from beginners to experienced researchers.

To support these efforts, the library has gathered an extensive collection of manuscripts, books, archival materials, and artifacts. These resources continually grow through library purchases and donations from appreciative genealogists and historians.
